法師簡介：

圖丹卻准比丘尼，第一代到亞洲求法並剃度出家的美國人之一，圖丹卻准比丘尼從她四十年的出家經驗，分享比丘尼傳承如何到西方的歷史。身為美國第一個在藏傳佛教給西方人受培訓的道場－「舍衛精舍」的開山住持，她從親身的經歷分享在西方成立受具僧團的坎坷和獲益。

Venerable Thubten Chodron is one of the first generation of Americans to study the Dharma in Asia and ordain as a Buddhist nun. With over 40 years of ordination, she speaks about the transmission of the bhikshuni lineage to Western nuns. As the founder of Sravasti Abbey, the first training monastery for Westerners in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition in the US, she offers first-hand experience and insights on the challenges and opportunities of establishing and developing a fully ordained sangha in the West.
